AnyScreen: no cable, no monitor, just a browser

How AnyScreen turns a laptop, a smart TV or a parked car's browser into your PXS desktop in about a minute.

  • iPhone & iPad
  • Android

Every other phone-desktop app needs a monitor and the right cable. AnyScreen needs a browser.

How it works

  1. Start AnyScreen in PXS. Your phone shows a code.
  2. On the other screen, open bytenine.com/pxs and type the code.
  3. The desktop appears in that browser. Make it fullscreen, and that screen is now your computer’s display.

The phone and the screen just need to share a Wi-Fi network, or the screen can join your phone’s hotspot. Nothing gets installed on the other side.

Drive it from either side

Your phone stays the touchpad and keyboard. Switch on Control from that screen, and the other screen’s own mouse, keyboard and touchscreen work too, so on a laptop you can simply use its trackpad, and on a car screen you can tap and drag the windows directly. Anyone with the pairing code can then control your phone, so leave it off on a screen you don’t trust.

In the car

The video above was filmed in a parked car. AnyScreen in a car is for passengers and parked use only, never while driving. Some cars freeze the picture as soon as they move anyway, which is the car doing its job.

More on setting it up is in Help.
