Meet PXS Desktop: your phone is the computer
Why we built a real desktop for the phone you already carry, and what it can do on a monitor, a TV, AR glasses or any browser.
- iPhone & iPad
- Android
Your phone has the processor of a laptop. It has the storage, the battery and the connection. What it has never had is a desktop: windows side by side, a dock, a browser that gets the real websites, and a pointer.
PXS Desktop gives it one.
Any screen
Plug your phone into a monitor, a TV or a pair of AR glasses and the desktop appears there, drawn at the screen’s own resolution, while the phone turns into the touchpad and keyboard. No monitor around? AnyScreen streams the desktop into any browser, on a laptop, a smart TV or even a parked car, with no cable at all. And DirectScreen runs it right on the device in your hands, which turns a tablet into a computer.
A real desktop
- Windows you can move, resize, snap side by side, minimize and take fullscreen
- A desktop-class browser, and any website as an app with its own window
- Files, photos, PDFs and video, each in a window of its own
- A launcher that listens, widgets, and a Daily Overview of your day
iPhone first, Android close behind
PXS Desktop for iPhone and iPad comes first. The Android version is built AnyScreen-first, so it works on phones and tablets that can’t drive a cable screen at all. Here’s what it does.
Try it free for three days of use. The clock starts the first time you connect a screen, not when you install. If something is missing, say so on the feedback board: it genuinely decides what we build next.
